Fulfil a childhood dream, begin a career in motorsports or offer your customers, partners or employees an exclusive corporate event for 10 to more than 100 participants.

Professional saloon car sports with great brand variety: The ADAC Procar continues their successful story from the previous. Early this year, the organisation has decided on important outline data which mostly remain unchanged: In three divisions you fight for points and placements. N ext to the 2 litre production cars of the division 1, prepared according to the model of the touring car championship and the compact 1.600 cubic sports car of division 2, there will still be the division 3 on the starting grid. The rules are aimed at one point primarily: Even for teams with a limited budget, the ADAC Procar wants to offer a professional field for a high-standard touring car sport. And the concept works out because next to the 'old' teams, a number of new teams and drivers are facing the competition and provide this series with an international and high brand variety.

Stable Regulations: In 2008, the ADAC Procar remains as various as usual. Especially the retention of the technical rules from 2005 attracted the teams in the division 1 because there is a keen second-hand market for cars from the WTCC at the level of 2005. Due to this big market, the use costs are not too high and easily comprehensible. With Alfa Romeo 156 S2000, BMW 320i, Chevrolet Lacetti, Ford Focus ST, Honda Civic Type R, Honda Accord, Opel Astra GTC, Opel Astra OPC and Toyota Corolla T-Sport, seven different brands are going to compete against each other in division 1 this year. Four different brands, Citroën Saxo VTS, Citroën C2 VTS, Ford Fiesta ST, Peugeot 207 sports and Volkswagen Lupo Gti, are this year opponents of the division 2, while the diesel division 3 is occupied with Alfa 147 JTD, Opel Astra GTC CDTI and VW Golf of 2.0 TDI.

The concept is simple but convincing. The basement is formed by production cars which are very close the series. Despite the brawny optic, the technology under the bonnet is regularized – e.g. in division 1 and 2, supercharged engines are prohibited, but allowed in division 3. Only two-wheel-driven cars are allowed in all three divisions. Limited modifications on engine, gearbox, suspension and brakes are permitted in restricted measure. Minimum car weight inclusive driver with equipment is: for division 1 -- front-wheel-drive 1.110 kg, rear-wheel-drive 1.140 kg; for division 2 -- front-wheel-drive 990 kg, rear-wheel-drive 1.020 kg; for division 3 -- front-wheel-drive 1.230 kg, rear-wheel-drive 1.250 kg.

To ensure the equal opportunities and budget control, all racing cars go with uniform DUNLOP-racing tyres and RIAL rims, the catalysers are from HJS and SHELL-V will supply the petrol. However, the knowledge and skills of the drivers will still be decisive since the basic data of the engines are almost identical within the divisions.

Additional balance of performance will be provided by imposing handicap weights to the best three drivers per race but if they are dropping down to position six and more at another race, handicap weights will be reduced. The handicap weights for all three divisions are: 1st place plus 30 kg, 2nd place plus 20 kg, 3rd place plus 10 kg. The maximum handicap weight is 60 kg for the divisions 1 and 3 and 30 kg for the division 2.

Tight racing program: Every weekend, all drivers absolve a tight racing program which requires good condition and physical fitness. Besides the two free practice sessions, one 30 min qualifying practise session, which is necessary for the starting grid, and a warm up, there are two successive 20 minute races -- interrupted by a 15 minute repair break. There is actually no time for manoeuvring. From the very beginning all drivers have to go full risk and power in order to keep pace. The handicap weights also play an essential role -- already a few kilos make a huge difference.

Point Award System: Individual successes are important, however, achieving points at a regular basis often leads to the top of the score. In both, the drives and the team's title score places 1 to 8 will be rewarded with points at every running. Who retires once only could already have lost too many points in the crowded field of production cars.
Points per race and division
Place 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Point 10 8 ……….In case of tie, the best positions will determine the final classification (1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. positions). All races will count for the final title classification.
Series Sponsors: Very important for the success of a racing series certainly are the series sponsors. With the companies BASTUCK exhaust system, DUNLOP tyres, Premio tyre-service, RIAL rims and the TÜV Rheinland, the ADAC Procar has well-known partners on its side.
